About Me
My name is Giorgio, born and raised in Palermo, Italy. Since I was a little kid, I’ve loved playing in the kitchen with my family. Growing up in Italy allowed me to travel and experience the native cuisines of Europe. After moving to the USA, I discovered new flavors, but I missed the cuisine I grew up with. Without hesitation, I decided to study cooking more seriously. I stepped out of my comfort zone and began experimenting with recipes that stayed true to my roots while appealing to a new audience. Now, I work as a personal chef, cooking for a variety of personalities and palates. I’m also a full-time chef for a PGA player, which gives me plenty of time to experiment with new recipes and share them with you. When I cook, I like to listen to music and enjoy a glass of good wine, which brings back memories of weekends in Italy with my family. Before becoming a full-time chef, I followed my other passions. From the age of 15 to 21, I worked as a DJ across Sicily. Later, during my time in the USA, I had a side job at a restaurant and became a Sommelier, selling wines to some of the finest restaurants on Florida's east coast. This experience allowed me to meet renowned chefs and interesting personalities, where I picked up valuable tips and tricks in the culinary world.
